"Studio time doesn't need to be expensive. I lived in Hollywood studios for half a decade and many places book at hundreds $$$ an hour to thousands per day, they also didn't come with any help! If you needed an engineer, producer or a session musician, you'd often pay even more out of pocket before recording. I spent $3k recording my first song, and $6k for my second, simply because so many hands were involved in the process. After watching my recording budgets dwindle so quickly, I made an effort to learn everything myself & cut the unnecessary hands OUT of the process. The good news is..
